Brand hands
Hello Soft Edgers,
I’ve been in knee deep in brand building the last couple of months.
I am putting the finishing touches on a new hanging system for my mesh wall art (talk about learning every angle and incarnation of The French Cleat! Thank you Hilary Martin for this recommendation).

This year, I’ve been doing some mentoring to a small business through the organisation, Rare Birds. It’s been wonderful to get to know my mentee - Eva Maria from Embrace Nutrition and build a culture together of shared learning and guidance.
Rare Birds reached out and asked me to present a session on branding to their Biz Booster cohort. It took time away from my art making, but it was a valuable experience and one I hope helped fellow brand builders in Australia.
I also, along with my husband Jake, decided to rebrand a Chai business. Back in 2017, we developed a sticky chai that was part of a tea line I did for the brand UNBUSY I built. The chai took off and I ended up getting it on the shelves of Harris Farm in Bowral, in the New South Wales Southern Highlands where I live. In 2020, I sold the UNBUSY tea business but kept the rights to the sticky chai recipe.
It now has a new home under brand CHAI SUPPLY. I launched it two weeks ago (only available in Australia, sorry). Thank you to the readers here who have supported me. You can check it out here:

I look forward to bringing you more new on art in the next post.
Till next time,
